LongTrace Software

With the aid of LongTrace, a free online software, most of Laragen's sequences can reach up to 1100 bp. You can download an example of a long read trace file.

Free Pick Up Service for UCLA

Laragen picks up samples from UCLA Monday thru Friday, between 2:00 and 3:00 pm directly from your lab. Samples submitted online before 1:30 pm will be picked up on the same day. Samples submitted online after 1:30 pm will be picked up next day. If UCLA is closed on a state holiday, our courier will collect samples at the Bomb Shelter between 2:00 to 2:30 pm. We will call you if we are collecting samples at the Bomb Shelter.

Laragen also provides free Bigdye cleanup for ready-to-run samples. With the DNALIMS system, sequencing results are ready to download the next morning. Some sequences may even be downloaded the same night.

The repeat request submitted before 2:00 pm will be done on the same day. The repeat request submitted after 2:00 pm will be done next day.

Laragen provides free pick-up services for UCI, Caltech, USC Main Campus and Cedars Sinai Hospital. Special pickup arrangements can also be made for other clients from the Metro Los Angeles area.
