Transgenic Mouse Genotyping Services

Laragen has provided transgenic, knock-out, knock-in and shRNA transgenic mouse genotyping services since 2002. Most of our mouse genotyping services are performed with probe based qPCR (TaqMan Assay). Our goal is to provide fast and accurate mouse genotyping services to researchers from both academic and industrial institutions. Unlike most of our competitors, who use crude tail lysate in the tests, Laragen uses high quality genomic DNA extracted with our proprietary DNA extraction technique. High quality genomic DNA is one of the key factors that helps us obtain above 99.95% accuracy in mouse genotyping. We accept a variety of mouse tissues samples that include tails, ears, toes, brains and other tissues. We also accept genomic DNA samples. Our transgenic mouse genotyping includes:

Depending on the number of samples and nature of the tests, we either waive the initial set-up fee or only charge a nominal set-up fee to cover the reagent cost. For the mouse models that are not in the Laragen test pool, we need to have the following to develop and convert the Laragen mouse genotyping protocols.
