Fragmenet Anaysis

Laragen provides fast and reliable fragment analysis services with an AB3730XL. We have three standard dye sets available from Applied Biosystems: DS-30 (6-FAM, VIC, NED and ROX), DS-31 (6-FAM, VIC, NED and ROX) and DS-33 (6-FAM, VIC, NED PET and LIZ). ROX and LIZ are used for internal size standards. We will choose different size standards based on your needs. Our experienced genotyping team will help you to design ready to run fragment analysis projects. Our turnaround time is normally next day, but rush same day turnaround is available upon request.

Sample Requirements:
Requirements depend on your experiments and your needs. You can choose the fluorescent labels from three dye sets. If you have questions about the dye sets, please contact us.

We need 10 ul of PCR products per sample. PCR products can be either purified or unpurified depending on your projects.

Samples can be sent either in 8 strip PCR tubes or 96-well plates. Please seal the 96-well plate with caps, foil tape or heat seal tape to avoid possible cross contamination and sample evaporation. Please label the side of tubes or plates, not on the top (seal or caps) of tubes or plates. For 96-well plates, please arrange samples by the columns, not by the rows. No spaces or illegal characters are allowed in the sample name. Allowable characters include: a - z, A - Z, 0 - 9, and hyphens.

Send a hard copy of Laragen's Fragment Analysis Request Form with your samples and email us an electronic copy to info@laragen.com. Samples can be shipped at room temperature. Our address is:
